FACIAL FILLERS FOR FULL FACE REJUVENATION
Facial Fillers For Full Face Rejuvenation
Aesthetic Facial Body Plastic Surgery presents on this page their approach to full face rejuvenation with the use of fillers. There are many options for facial rejuvenation and you can search the different approachs on our procedure page. Traditional approaches include the use of facelifts, browlifts, eyelifts, neck lifts, mid facelift and lip augmentation to improve your appearance. We discussed how some traditional approaches to facial rejuvenation can come short in getting natural results. You can read more about this here where we discuss how the YoungVitalizer Improves on this thought process here: Learn More About the YoungVitalizer. Although much less invasive than facelifts, browlifts, The YoungVitalizer process is more of a procedure. Some people may still prefer even a less invasive procedure like fillers. This page will explain our approach to Full Face Rejuvenation with the Use of Fillers.
Below is a picture showing the steps that we think we would advise for full face rejuvenation and we will explain why we think this may be the best approach. First, step one shows augmentation in the lower eyelid area and cheek areas. The eyes are the ares that attract the most attention and thus starting here will get you the most optimal starting effect. We prefer Restylane® here and we have achieved great results. Below is a before and after with filler to the upper and lower eyelid areas. We essentially used 2-3 syringes of Restylane® for this patient and achieved stunning and natural results. Read more below for the Second steps and beyond. In general, you can use anywhere from 1-4 syringes in this area depending on what you want to do and the extent of the rejuvenation you would like to achieve.

The second step involves working in the middle part of the face with Cheek projection and the nasolabial folds. This augments the filling we did in step 1. The middle part of the face plays a major impact on aging as filling in this area brings about facial projection. It highlights the face and makes it smaller, not bigger. You can learn more on these thoughts when you come in to Talk to Dr. Young or Dr. Parikh. In this area, we would recommend 2-4 syringes depending on how much rejuvenation you want and whether you want drastic or more subtle results. This is the subjective process so your desires here are important.
Step 3: involves improving the mouth area more. We are now moving into the marionette lines and improving this area as well as the chin and jowl areas. Lip augmentation could also be performed here and this can have a dramatic impact in your looks. Step 3 involved augmenting and filling in this whole area. Our secrets will approach the marionette lines in more more natural way. By filling this area, you will have more projection, your face, chin and lower face area will appear smaller. Your marionette lines will be markedly improved. Typically, you can use between 1-4 syringes depending on the effect you would like to achieve.
Step 4: A real common area for aging that is often overlooked is the temple area hollowing. This area can go down in volume and lead to your eyebrows dropping which can cause hooded and tired looking eyes. With the corner dropping the most, the look that you can get is sad look and some times a concerned look. Filling in this area can lift the eyebrows as well as make your face look younger. We can tell you more about the effects when you come in as well. Generally, 1-4 syringes can be used in this area.
5th step: One of tell tale signs of aging is the loss of volume in the lower part of the face. Take a look at your face from the front in the mirror. Find the area that is creating the most width in your face from the front view. The next step is to grab or delineate where your face is the widest and then turn to see where this is. As you age, this area become more and more where the jowls are. This area is usually in front of the angle of the jaw.
The blue arrow shows where the volume loss is occuring in the angle of the jaw. The green arrow shows where the jowls are occuring. The jowls develop secondary to loss of volume in the cheeks, jawline and the front of the face. The jowls are normally improved through facelifting. They can also improve with volume in the jawline, cheek, chin, etc. A newer idea is filling in the jawline to help lift the jowls and make the angle of the jaw the widest area of the face as it should be. This proper distribution of the face's volume allows the face to appear thinner and younger at the same times.
Step 6: Forehead Enhancement would likely be what we would consider one of the last areas to augment. Obviously this will depend on your preferences. Forehead augmentation can reduce someones stern or aged look that can occur here with volume loss. With age, the forehead loses volume and with the persistence of the forehead musculature, the brows maintain the volume more readily. What this leads to is a prominent brow and a more masculine look that occurs with aging. Forehead enhancement aims to reduce this stern, maculine look.
Upper Eyelid Enhancement: We feel this may be best suited when you do either steps 1, 4 or 6. Upper eyelid enhancement tends to bring light back to the eyes more. The effect is a softening of a person's look here. A little here can go a very long way. Take a look at the before and after above to see the impact of just 1 filler in this region.
