Mole removal with a co2 laser involves taking the mole past the level of the skin. If this is not done, the mole will come back. The shock is that afterward the area is left with a hole. Dont worry this tends to fill in well. This can take a few weeks. The better you clean this the faster it will heal. The key is getting the crusts off. If the crusts are left on, the skin can grow deeper and you could be left with more of a depression. Without the crusts there, the skin is allowed to heal in more and become more level with the skin. So keep cleaning and keep the crusts off. This may require using a qtip to remove the crusts. We can help you with this process as well if you need more help.
