Defining Marionette Lines: Marionette Lines are the lines in front of the jowls that are also the extension of the nasolabial folds below the lip area. They are formed by the descent of the cheek over this area. The tissue around the mouth is tightly adherent due to muscle skin ligaments that hold the skin tight agains the deeper tissue.
